Preserving Heritage Aesthetics

St Bathans had an existing dwelling which was beyond repair. We undertook a complete new build and restoration, ensuring the heritage of the area and existing dwelling was captured.

Project Goals

The St. Bathans project aimed to blend modern functionality with classic aesthetics, preserving the heritage of the area while creating a contemporary living space.

Initial Consultation and Planning

Initial consultation began in 2020 to understand our clients’ needs and preferences. We worked closely with them to create a design plan that balanced modern functionality with classic aesthetics.

Innovative Design Solutions

• Open-Plan Living: We reimagined the interior layout to create an open-plan living area, seamlessly connecting the kitchen, dining, and living spaces. This design fosters a sense of openness and enhances natural light throughout the home.

• Recycled Materials: A lot of the existing dwelling materials’ were recycled and repurposed into the new build.

The Final Result

St Bathans was completed in late 2022. The reimagined space allows for both summer and winter get-aways with an open plan living area, spanning to the back deck entertaining area.
